Terms and Conditions of Use
These "Terms & Conditions of Use" constitute the contractual agreement between you and WCET regarding the use of our website (www.wcet.wiche.edu) and any activities or transactions you may conduct through this site. Your use of our website constitutes your agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions. This statement contains our commitment to you concerning your privacy and how WCET may use information you provide.
Information We Collect
No personal information is collected unless you choose to provide that information to us. Personal information is collected for membership, demographic, and communications purposes.
If you choose to provide personal information by sending an e-mail or by submitting a form via our website, we use that information to respond to your message and to help us fulfill your request. We may also use your personal information to update our internal database of contacts and members, access to which is restricted to authenticated persons from WCET member institutions and organizations. Use of the Member Directory for any solicitations or promotions that have not been pre-approved by WCET is prohibited.
If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the website, we will gather and store only standard Internet log information, such as (but not limited to) the host system, time, and duration of visits to our pages.
How We Use Information
WCET will not share, sell, or trade any personal individual information without your advance permission. Any information that becomes published will be on an aggregated, non-identifying basis.
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on our website.
Content Ownership
WCET's logo is copyrighted and is the exclusive property of WCET.
Materials that are freely available on our website uses a Creative Commons "Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike" license for its content.
Materials that appear in any member-only sections of the website are copyrighted with all rights reserved, except for content clearly labeled with a Creative Commons license.
All information provided by users (including, but not limited to: e-mails, posting to listservs, wikis, and blog entries) shall be the property of WCET. WCET may use any materials provided within the limitations of the Fair Information Practice policies without restriction or compensation.
Materials appearing on or referenced on the site that are not produced by WCET are subject to the copyright agreements specified by the author. Materials may be copied or downloaded provided that all restrictions noted for that material are complied with and that notices of copyrights and/or proprietary notices are included.
Member Communications
WCET does not endorse the opinions expressed in any online communications tools that are part of the WCET website, such as blogs or discussion boards. All comments made in such contexts are solely those of the participants and are not endorsed or in any way attributable to WCET. WCET is not responsible for any liability resulting from content posted in listservs, user forums, or content pages.

Acceptable Use
WCET's website is a forum for sharing information pertinent to our mission and facilitating civil discussion of related issues.
