Achieving Innovation in Higher Education
Innovation is the great buzzword for higher education in the 21st Century, but while books and journals are filled with assessments of the need for innovation, far less has been written about how to achieve innovation in our institutions and systems. This webcast features the 2011 WCET Outstanding Work (WOW) award winners. The WCET WOW award recognizes exceptionally creative, technology-based solutions to a significant problem or need in higher education. This year's panel of WOW recipients will examine how to ignite and realize innovation in our colleges and universities.
The program will feature case studies of innovation solutions for faculty development, student engagement, and retention, and will explore the dynamics of innovation, innovation leadership and how to create an innovation culture.
