Open Educational Resources have several advantages over traditional methods of producing and obtaining course materials and textbooks. Learn how two system organizations have encouraged institutional collaboration between their members to increase the impact of Open Educational Resources, in particular, Open Textbooks.

BCcampus has long been recognized as a leader in developing and implementing open practices throughout British Columbia's campuses. The North Dakota University System is also implementing system-wide efforts that were funded by the legislature in a project started more recently.
