Consortia Success Stories: Institutions Working Together on OER Innovations

Open Educational Resources have several advantages over traditional methods of producing and obtaining course materials and textbooks. Learn how two system organizations have encouraged institutional collaboration between their members to increase the impact of Open Educational Resources, in particular, Open Textbooks.

The webcast presenters represent different stages of developing multi-institutional strategies. BCcampus has long been recognized as a leader in developing and implementing open practices throughout British Columbia's campuses. The North Dakota University System is also implementing  system-wide efforts that were funded by the legislature in a project started more recently. You will hear lessons learned and will the have the opportunity to ask questions.
