This Administrative Assistant 3 reports to the Dean of Transitional Education and will interact with faculty, students, and staff of the district, public agencies and the general public. Responsibilities include complex budget development and management; serving as liaison for Transitional Education; and providing administrative support by coordinating office operations. The Administrative Assistant's work responsibilities are self-directed and driven by the Division's and institution's needs and district-wide deadlines. Additionally, this position requires knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations and the Pierce College Federation of Teachers (PCFT) contract.
- Some college credit coursework.
- Experience in a progressively responsible office/clerical, administrative, or secretarial role.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining records (manual and electronic) and performing data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining/monitoring a budget.
