Job Description

Colorado State Online (Department of Continuing Education) seeks an educational Video Production/Instructional Technologist to work collaboratively with the CSU Online Instructional Design Team to build exceptional online educational experiences for our students for both credit and non-credit programs.

This full-time position will coordinate the production and curation of instructional video and work closely with the CSU Online Instructional Design Team as they work with faculty to develop online, hybrid, and residential courses. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of producing informational and educational film. The Video Production/Instructional Technologist will also be expected to become familiar with systems that support online course delivery and assist instructional designers in course-development projects when needed.

Salary: $50,000- $60,000 range, commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any field and at least three years combined work and educational experience in digital media production, including planning, shooting, and editing informational/educational film.
• Experience with video recording techniques and the use of hardware (digital cameras and sound-recording equipment) and software tools (e.g., Echo360, Kaltura, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere and Encoder, and other software.).
• Experience optimizing for and incorporating film into web-based contexts.
