The Center for Global Scholars (CGS) is a 63 bed residence hall opened fall quarter of 2017 for Pierce College students. The purpose of this residence hall is to create an interdependent global learning community based on inclusiveness for local students and international students in order to promote their cross cultural understanding and academic success. Strong student support, unique learning opportunities and academic presentations with a global emphasis will be a part of this learning community experience on an ongoing basis.
The Center for Global Scholars (CGS) Resident Manager (RM) is a professional, live-in, exempt, staff member who is responsible for the smooth functioning of the CGS residence hall, allocation of resources, and program operations and results.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- One (1) year of professional experience as a lead in a residence hall or student affairs related position OR two (2) years of experience as a student resident assistant OR two (2) years of experience in safety of residence and facility maintenance related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement experiences to meet established goals.
