Reporting to the District Director of Facilities and Construction Management, and working as part of a District-wide Facilities and Operations team, this position actively supports and engages in Pierce College's goals for equity and inclusion in order to provide access and support for our diverse community of learners. The Director of Maintenance and Custodial Operations provides administrative direction and oversight of the daily operations of the Maintenance, Grounds, and Custodial Departments at both Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and Pierce College Puyallup. The incumbent will provide support to the District Director in planning and conducting capital repair projects; strategic planning; emergency management and preparedness; and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree in facilities management, business, or a closely related field OR an Associate's Degree and two (2) years of direct related experience.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible management experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in areas such as facility operations and maintenance, capital project management, and personnel management.
