Job Description

This position will work closely with faculty to support the smooth delivery of courses and course content utilizing the Sinclair learning management system, eLearn (D2L) and a variety of new and emerging learning technologies. The position will work closely with department managers, faculty, instructional designers and Learning Technology Support (LTS) staff to imagine, build, and launch successful instructional technology solutions as well as ensure the smooth implementation of support, services and programs offered by the eLearning Division and LTS team. The incumbent is ultimately responsible for supporting learning technology development and support services. The incumbent also provides input and direction to other college faculty and staff regarding support, services and programs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Associate degree in related field required, bachelor’s preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Multimedia, Learning Enhancement, or Instructional Training related field required
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, C#, C++
  • Working knowledge of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment) required
  • Current working knowledge of on-line course management software (i.e. Desire 2 Learn)
  • Ability to provide effective training & support for all technological knowledge levels required
  • Ability to support and maintain computer and other technology hardware and software
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while providing great attention to detail and meeting all required deadlines required
  • Ability to display professional networking skills with the ability to work with greatly diverse individuals and work groups required
  • Ability to make independent decisions as it relates to learning enhancements and various technological learning tools required
  • Professional communication skills to include but not limited to oral and written required
  • Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service skills required
  • Current working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint; Outlook; Excel; Publisher; Access; etc.) required
  • Current working knowledge of digital image publications (Photoshop; After Effects, etc.) preferred
