Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.
Assist with the implementation and oversight of the eLearning Analytics Project, Content Collection, CEU Blackboard, community, Outcomes and Assessments.
Work with faculty, administrators, colleges, and schools on new program development work with eLearning staff and administration on updating program(s) and maintaining quality online course design and development
Assist the Vice Provost and Associate Vice Provost with initiatives dealing with eLearning, online, and distance education.
The candidate must have an understanding of online and distance education, program assessment, program development, and course and program design.
Must have Blackboard knowledge and experience.
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Graduate degree in education, instructional technology, online learning, or related field. Experience with Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Analytics, and Blackboard Content and Community modules and knowledge of emerging technologies and accessibility preferred.
Special or Physical Qualifications
Travel up to 25% is possible.
