Job Description

The Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of South Dakota is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Educational Technology Integrationist.  This position works with faculty to solve specific technological and pedagogical problems, provides training in the areas of technology and pedagogy, provides oversight over graduate and undergraduate students, provides data for outcomes-based assessment measures, and advises on marketing and outreach activities.  Some training will require off-campus travel.  This position is highly collaborative and works closely with academic and administrative units from across the university.

Minimum Qualifications

An MA/MS in Education, Educational Technology, or Educational Psychology or a master's degree in a field that allows collegiate teaching (such as English, Speech, or Math); experience teaching at any level; excellent oral and written communication skills; willingness to work as part of a team that develops and supports a community dedicated to excellent teaching and learning, regardless of location, formality, or modality; valid driver's license.

Desired Qualifications: Three years teaching in higher education; online teaching experience; experience with course management systems (preferably Desire2Learn); knowledge of graphic design, digital accessibility, and emerging technologies that facilitate distance learning; experience training personnel and in developing training materials; terminal degree.
