The University of Rhode Island is seeking a highly competent and skillful coordinator to help launch and manage the new Student Contact Support Center for our new URI Online Initiative. This individual will be leading the creation and coordination of the Center activities to include articulating program information, managing a pipeline of online students, and training student support specialists and mentors. The Coordinator will be joining the University during an exciting and transformative period of growth and innovation, as we build a suite of online programs to include master’s degrees, certificates and undergraduate degree-completion programs. The Coordinator will work closely with various leaders across the University to ensure the seamless transition of online students from point of inquiry through graduation.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years’ experience working in customer service, a call/contact center and/or similar environment, OR, Master’s degree with a minimum of two years’ experience working in customer service, a call/contact center and/or similar environment.
