Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator
Job Description

The LMS Developer supports the University's LMS (Moodle - an open source system). Reporting to the Director of Academic and Online Technology, the LMS developer performs systems analysis, application development, conducts advanced troubleshooting and technical support across technologies. The LMS Developer works closely with the LMS administrator(s), OCE IT staff, the Faculty Technology Center and central ITS in order to ensure seamless integrations and robust documentation. The LMS Developer puts into practice the philosophy of utilization of integration platforms like Dell Boomi in order to avoid customizations wherever possible, ensuring sustainability and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience. Direct experience developing in the Moodle environment; ability to write code to Moodle; knowledge of the architecture of Moodle. Direct experience using an integration platform. High-level knowledge of open standards for learning systems form IMS Global, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.

Experience with self-hosting Moodle, experience with AWS, Salesforce experience, experience with CampusCe or Dell Boomi.
