Assistant/Associate Vice Provost for Online Learning and Academic Programs

Job Description

The position provides leadership, direction, oversight, and vision for the university's online and distance education efforts, including fully-online academic programs and online courses intended for both distance learning and residential students. The position collaborates with colleges and departments to prioritize, initiate, develop, and deliver online academic programs and courses, and manages internal and external relationships to expedite the initiation of online programs.  The position reports to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and leads the Division of Online Learning and Academic Programs, which supports the university's efforts to provide accessible, affordable, inclusive, and life-long learning to the residents of Tennessee and to students across the nation and around the world

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience working in online higher education at an accredited institution.  Demonstrated leadership and collaboration experience in a higher education setting.  Proven dedication to principles of equity and inclusion.
