Job Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic, mission-driven Sales & Outreach Consultant to help grow our membership base by identifying and connecting with the right contacts at higher education institutions across the country.

  • Research and identify prospective institutional clients with a focus on colleges and universities offering programs leading to professional licensure (e.g., nursing, teaching, social work, counseling)
  • Identify the appropriate point of contact (e.g., compliance officers, academic affairs, deans, registrars, legal counsel, licensure liaisons)
  • Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce The Bookmark and initiate conversations
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory calls with the HELP team
  • Track outreach activity, leads, and follow-ups using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with the HELP team to refine messaging and outreach strategies based on performance data
  • Identify and recommend conferences and professional networking opportunities for outreach

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales or outreach, ideally in higher education and/or SaaS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—confident and clear on the phone and in writing
  • Skilled at identifying decision-makers and navigating complex organizations
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and persistent follow-up
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with higher education systems, accreditation, or licensure compliance is a plus
  • Experience with CRM tools (Ontraport experience is a bonus)
