The leadership committees of WCET reflect the cooperative model and collaborative spirit of our organization. Both leadership groups are made up of practitioners from our member institutions and organizations. Most of our activities, programs, and decisions are spearheaded by members, which means we stay in sync with member interests and needs as they evolve. This also keeps our administration lean, so we can devote more of our resources to getting results. We announce openings on leadership committees each Summer/Fall.
The Executive Council serves as the strategic advisory group to the Executive Director on matters related to membership, annual dues, strategic priorities, policies, and other issues. Get to know our Executive Council members.

In addition to the above opportunities, WCET has several ad hoc and special purpose committees. WCET offers multiple ways for members to get more deeply involved in shaping WCET projects, which can be a rewarding experience both professionally and personally for those who volunteer. Contact WCET to tell us of your interests and to learn about opportunities to participate with WCET.
The WCET Bylaws provide an outline of membership requirements and eligibility, governance, meetings, dues and fees, and amendments.
