AI Policy in Practice: WCET Survey Insights
Recently, WCET conducted an updated version of its 2023 survey of institutional practices and policies. The 2025 survey, administered to postsecondary institutions across the United States, expanded its scope to include not only instruction and learning but also governance and operations. The survey surfaced key insights into:
- Current AI use;
- Support, incentives, and training;
- Policies and guidelines; and
- Challenges and benefits at colleges and universities nationwide.
This webcast will dive into some of these key survey findings highlighted in WCET’s forthcoming report. Speakers will also discuss their predictions for the (near) future, recommended actions institutions can take, and how they plan to utilize AI in the upcoming academic year.
