Omid Fotuhi currently serves as the director of learning and innovation at WGU Labs, as well as a visiting research associate at the University of Pittsburgh. Omid’s research focuses on the psychology of performance and motivation in the domains of academics, athletics, and workplace achievement—insights which he translates into actionable strategies for practitioners and individuals. 

Peter Mosinskis

Interim Chief Information Officer, California State University Office of the Chancellor

Peter Mosinskis serves as the interim chief information officer at the California State University Office of the Chancellor. In this role, Peter facilitates the identification and development of opportunities for multi-campus collaboration and shared services. He has over 20 years experience in leading IT-related programs and projects at both public and private universities. He is experienced in IT strategic planning, project and portfolio management, service management, web services, accessibility, and assessment.

Patti West-Smith

Director of Customer Engagement, Turnitin

Patti West-Smith leads Turnitin’s customer engagement team as the director of customer engagement. Before joining Turnitin, Patti spent 19 years working in every capacity in school districts in the United States as teacher, principal, curriculum supervisor, and many more roles, while also working on local, state, and national curriculum and assessment development projects. Patti also served as an adjunct professor at Salisbury University in their teacher preparation program and acted as an independent professional learning consultant. Since coming to Turnitin six years ago, Patti has worked to create content, instructional and curricular resources, and professional learning opportunities to support educators around the world in the understanding of pedagogy and implementation of Turnitin’s products and services. She also passionately serves as one of Turnitin’s resident advocates for the needs of educators and students alike.

Megan Raymond

Senior Director, Membership and Programs, WCET

Megan has been with WCET since June of 2007. As the senior director of programs and membership, she oversees member recruitment and activities and manages various programs, most notably the Annual Meeting, Summits, monthly webcasts, and Closer Conversations. Megan brings 20 years of higher education experience to her current position and holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Fort Lewis College and a master’s degree in Nutrition and Health Education. Prior to joining the WCET team, Megan worked as the assistant director for student housing and conference services at a small liberal arts college where she was entrenched in student affairs.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys racing mountain bikes, skiing, and chasing her son on his bike or feet. Her two rescue pups include a 75-pound lap dog and a quite cunning shepherd mix whom she is sure is plotting to take over the world. Megan’s favorite television character is Saul Goodman from Better Call Saul.
