WCET 35th Annual Meeting
The WCET Annual Meeting brings together higher education professionals to share advances in digital learning practices and to explore emerging policy challenges facing institutions and organizations today. In 2023, WCET hosted the first Annual Summit for Women in eLearning (ASWE), formerly known as IFWE, in conjunction with the WCET Annual Meeting. Please see below for an outline of events for the Annual Meeting and ASWE.
Additionally, the State Authorization Network (SAN) hosted its annual SAN Coordinator Meeting and SAN Member Gathering on October 24, reserved for SAN members.
About the Annual Meeting Program and Audience
Using a variety of formats, the Annual Meeting program reflects WCET’s priorities of community, equity, policy, and practice. Session formats are intended to provide attendees an opportunity to engage with speakers and each other in a meaningful way.
The Annual Meeting audience represents leaders and practitioners in digital learning in higher education who bring incredible insights and experiences, creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue.
About the ASWE Program and Audience
ASWE conference participants represent a wide array of diverse constituencies and digital learning modalities. The ASWE program includes inspiring presenters, collaborative sessions, opportunities for networking, and the infamous Pajamarama. It is designed to tap into resources that include mentorships, digital learning programs and products, and an opportunity to share ideas and learn from experts in the profession about relevant topics. ASWE attendees gain a better understanding of how to be a successful leader, up-and-coming leader, or support person in digital and online learning.
