SAN Webcasts: Configuring Technology for State Authorization

Positive Outcomes of Compliance Efforts

In conforming with state authorization regulations, compliance officers are faced with organizing and tracking a complex array of information including: regulations in each state, programmatic activities in each state, enrollments in each state, and much more. Information needed for compliance typically is not collected or included in regular higher education reporting; therefore, new processes for gathering data are needed. The presenters will each share how technology has enhanced how their institution organizes the information that they use in pursuing authorization in each state. The benefits of using technology for state authorization extend beyond compliance to enhanced student communication, better defined course inventory, and insight into opportunities for extending student support.
