Christina Anderson is the director of learner experience at Wiley Education Services. She joined Wiley in 2013 to lead the development of a media-rich, online Business Foundations program. As part of that program, she built and then subsequently grew the instructional media team, and currently oversees Wiley’s US learning design and media teams. Prior to joining Wiley, Anderson spent over 10 years in the online learning industry, from designing interactives for organizations like the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum to managing the development of global e-learning courses for Fortune 500 clients.

 

David CapranosDavid Capranos, Director of Market Strategy and Research; Wiley Education Services
David Capranos is the director of market strategy and research at Wiley Education Services. In his role managing the market research team, Capranos conducts extensive research to identify demand, market opportunities, and potential challenges to ultimately highlight academic programs that align with current demand. His team plays a vital role in determining the viability of educational programs in the online market and helping universities stay ahead of industry and market trends. Capranos has a background as a business analyst in higher education marketing, evaluating marketing tactics, and helping implement technologies such as a student relationship management and project management system.

 

Jason RhodesJason Rhode, Executive Director of Extended Learning; Northern Illinois University
Jason Rhode is currently the executive director of extended learning at Northern Illinois University. In his role at NIU, Rhode serves as chief online learning officer, overseeing the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, as well as providing strategic leadership and long-range vision for development and delivery of online and off-campus education. He also holds a joint faculty appointment in the Department of Educational Technology, Research, and Assessment at NIU where he develops and teaches courses and conducts research in instructional design and educational technology administration.

Shannon RiggsShannon Riggs, Executive Director, Academic Programs & Learning Innovation, Oregon State University
Shannon Riggs serves as executive director of academic programs and learning innovation for Oregon State University Ecampus. In this role, she supports Oregon State’s land grant mission by providing leadership and direction for academic programs and learning innovation throughout the division. She directly oversees several Ecampus units, including the course development and training, research, open educational resources, and program management teams. She currently serves on the WCET Steering Committee and the Quality Matters Academic Advisory Committee.
