Jason Rhode

Executive Director and Chief Online Learning Officer, Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning; Associate Professor, Department of Educational Technology, Research and Assessment, Northern Illinois University

Jason Rhode (pronounced “Roady”) is currently executive director of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning at Northern Illinois University. In his role at NIU, Jason serves as chief online learning officer and provides strategic leadership and long-range vision for development and delivery of online education. He also holds a joint faculty appointment in the Department of Educational Technology, Research and Assessment at NIU where he develops and teaches courses and conducts research in instructional design and educational technology administration.
