December 8: Professional Licensure
When the July 1, 2020, regulation went into effect requiring professional licensure disclosures for both face-to-face and distance programs, two Marshall University officials brainstormed how to make this process clear for the campus stakeholders sharing in this responsibility. Using tools already available to their campus and building on the success of implementing Microsoft Teams for remote delivery and online collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic, Teams was identified as the low or “no-cost” solution that could help MU meet this daunting task. Teams also serves as the primary landing area for meeting the disclosure statute, including a training repository and dynamic storage archive.
In this session, WCET and SAN members learned how Marshall University produced a dynamic collaboration space in Teams and achieved campus buy-in and compliance for a complex process.
