Online Adjunct Faculty: A Survey of Institutional Policies and Practices

In partnership with Every Learner Everywhere, WCET and OLC conducted a survey with higher education administrators regarding online practices for two- and four-year institutions. The organizations also conducted in-depth follow-up interviews with several institutions. This report highlights the role of online adjunct faculty, including hiring practices, expectations, policies, and support and provides strategies to better support online adjunct faculty and their students.
