Steering Committee

The Steering Committee advises on activities that WCET should pursue and makes recommendations on policy issues to the Executive Council and the Executive Director.

The committee consists of 15 members including:

Six Organizational Representatives. One representative elected from each of the following organizational groups:

• Public two-year institutions.
• Public four-year and graduate institutions.
• Public four-year and graduate institutions.
• Private/independent institutions.
• State/provincial governing/coordinating boards.
• Corporations.

Six Common Interest Group Representatives. Two representatives selected each year from nominees provided by the Common Interest Groups.  A Common Interest Group cannot be represented by more than one member on the Steering Committee at a time.

Three At-large Representatives. One at-large representative elected per year.

The Steering Committee Chair serves a one-year term. The Vice Chair serves a one-year term and is also the Chair-elect.
