Member-Only Community Instructions

This page provides instructions for using the WCET member-only community platform, wcetMIX.

Subscribe to WCET Member Communities

Anyone involved in a member organization is eligible to join WCET Communities and email lists. Click the subscribe button below to sign up and join the WCET Communities. For information about SAN member communities and emails, contact lfletcher@wiche.edu.

 

Please review the WCET Community Etiquette and Use page for information on participating in MIX and submitting posts.

Log Into MIX for the First Time

First-time users must set up their password.

To set up your password:

  1. Visit the Set up Password/Forgot Password page and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to enter your email (use the institutional or organizational email associated with WCET) and then will receive an email to confirm your account.
  2. Click on the link in the email. This link will expire after 15 minutes.
  3. Enter your chosen password into the new password field.
  4. Log into MIX with your new password.

Instructions for Submitting Posts


Please follow our Community Rules of Use and Standards of Etiquette when participating in WCET Communities.

Via the online platform…

  1. Log into wcetMIX.
  2. Click on “Participate,” then “Post a Message,” and select the community in the community field.
    OR, after logging into MIX, click “Communities,” “My Communities,” and scroll to the community to which you want to post. Click “Add” to add a discussion post.

Via email…

Send a message directly to the Community email address (see our Community list for these addresses) for the specific community.

Use a descriptive subject line in the email so that other WCET members can easily respond. All text content contained in the body of the email will be added to your post in the community (including email signatures). Only text-based content will be added (there is no way to add graphics or images through email).

WCET members are welcome to submit job posts to WCET Jobs! Learn more.

*Most wcetMIX communities are open only to WCET or SAN members. Some communities are reserved for working groups and event attendees.

Reset Your Password

To reset your password:
