Welcome to WCET’s New Website!

Fully revamped and relaunched in fall 2021, the entire WCET team has worked hard to create an entirely new online experience for our members and the higher education community.

Check out our new website video tour:

What’s new?

From new resources to exciting new features, read on for an in-depth look at the new WCET website:

Learn

New Policy and Practice Focused Topic Hubs – WCET’s work focuses on the policy and practice of digital learning in higher education. The new website has reorganized resources related to these two themes.

You can now find all our content about specific digital learning topics in one easy location! The Policy and Practice pages provide an overview of our policy and practice work and related topic areas. Each topic area has a page with a summary and links to all WCET created resources, such as member-only briefs (MIX login required), publications, and blogs, all of which are consistently updated by our expert staff and guests from our member community. We also link to relevant WCET events and external resources.

WCET Resources – a new platform that highlights WCET’s publications, research, and other types of outstanding content, organized by content type and year.

Connect with WCET

“For Members” Menu – houses overviews of member benefits, WCET awards, and information about the group for leaders of digital learning systems and consortia. In this section, you can:

  • Visually see all the member-only benefits available to all staff at WCET member organizations on the Use Your Benefits page.
  • Visit our Member-Only Communities and link to discussion posts, the member directory, community experiences such as working groups or onboarding programs, and more, all right from our website.
  • Become a member or sponsor today and join the WCET Community and help us advance learner access and success through postsecondary digital learning for a more equitable world.

WCET Events – easily see upcoming events and check out information about previous events, including available resources and recordings.

WCET Networks – connect our practice and policy work with action and learn about the WCET Networks – programs housed within WCET that each focus on a specific topic related to higher education digital learning.

Meet Our Members – WCET’s member community extends to all U.S. states, Canada, and beyond. Our member list can now be filtered by state and type of organization.

Search

A New Way to Search – Try the greatly improved Search feature that presents a robust results list from across the WCET website, WCET Frontiers, public and member-only resources, events, and wcetDISCUSS posts! The options to select tags and/or content type help guide you more quickly to the resources you need. Use the magnifying glass in the menu, type in a keyword, and select a tag or content type to narrow your search.

The WCET Job Post Platform – WCET member positions are now searchable through the new WCET job post platform. Not only can you advertise your available positions, but you can search by keyword to find available opportunities or archived examples of previous posts to help you write position descriptions.
